Ask Dave Ramsey iPhone Application

If you’re a Dave Ramsey fan as well as an iPhone user you may want to check out the new free Dave Ramsey iPhone app – Ask Dave Ramsey.  I was searching around on YouTube recently and discovered this cool video which gives an overview.  I thought it was worth sharing as a lot of people are fans of Dave and are looking for some quick tips and answers to personal finance questions.

Basically, the premise behind the app is to tell you what Dave would do across a broad range of personal finance topics.

I just downloaded the app to do a quick review and test drive.  It has several features:

  • You can listen to the actual radio shop clips.
  • Read a short summary of the listener’s question and Dave’s answer.
  • Browse segments of Dave’s on-air rants and people calling in to scream “I’m debt free!”
  • Search calls in various categories
  • Share calls with your friends through email, Facebook and Twitter.

I decided to check out the Kids and Money category and found a wide range of topics:  Teach Them Early, Save for College Before a Roth IRA, How Should I Save for College, Teaching them How to Spend and plenty more titles to choose from.   Overall, I think this app is going to be a big help to people who appreciate the advice of Dave Ramsey.  The show is great, but now you have it at your finger tips and can refer to it whenever needed.

Have you downloaded the app yet?  If so, what do you think about it?
