Financial Fitness Tips: Keeping New Years Resolutions, Build Savings and More

Happy New Year everyone!  Like many of you, I’m still getting back into the swing of things from Christmas and New Years break.  I had a nice long vacation and really enjoyed the rest and time with my family.  I hope you did too!

I managed to post a couple of articles on the blog even though it was a short week.  Danny posted some thoughts and reflection from the Holidays about what matters most in life.  ”Are we going to remember those things that we bought (or could not buy), or the time and memories we have with our loved ones?”

I also announced the Debt Movement.  The movement kicks off this month with a goal to help America pay off $10 million of America’s consumer debt.  Read my post to see how you can be a part of this movement and get help paying off your debt from personal finance bloggers and other participants.

This week’s financial fitness tips include a unique idea to keep your New Years Resolutions (Whisker Goals), how to build more savings this year and much more.  I hope these tips help you get your New Year off to a good start!
