Personal Finance Friday Roundup: Time to Get your Taxes Filed

April 15th is just around the corner, so here is your wake up call.  Don’t delay in getting your taxes filed any longer!  Set aside time today to allow yourself plenty of margin to avoid last minute stresses.

Here’s a quick tip:  schedule the time on your calendar.  If you need to take your taxes to a professional or use services such as H&R Block, do so immediately.  You risk waiting in long lines or not getting on your CPA’s schedule by the deadline if you wait to the last minute.  Most extensions and the associated fees are the result of procrastination!
